Baat correct information ki hai……jaha bhi information ho,woh correct honi chahiye.

 

It’s our responsibility to try & preserve as much correct information for our future generations as possible.

Earlier ppl used to preserve it through books…but now it’s internet & blogs.

Go buy Veilguard for 6k and sell it for 5k after 30days. I can tell you, no one will buy it for 5k. You have to reduce it to almost 2k before anyone will show interest.

 

Unless you selling hIgh profile and highly anticipated game or highly acclaimed game,  you not getting good return on sale on IVG.

 

 

For example- 

 

I still remember i bought KZ Shadowfall (for 3500Rs) at launch and tried to sell it after 15 days for 2000Rs, got no buyers for almost 20 days, then i had to reduce price to 1200Rs before i got buyer.

 

 

I have sold lot of 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox one games on IVG with 99% positive feedback. I know how stuff works. I went full digital this gen only thanks to best gaming Service called Gamepass:)

 

 

Buying Veilguard for 900Rs is the best deal for the game given the quality of the game.

This guy sold Veilguard for ₹1800 just a month ago when brand new disc wasn’t even ₹2500 & game already out on PSplus.

 

 

 

The basic math tells us that buying a disc is a better deal than subscribing for 1 month even in month 6…let alone Day1!!

 

I am giving facts here….not verbal justifications…..

 

 

Playstation has a huge re-sale market with all sorts of interested buyers at any given point in life cycle.

i bought for 3200 and sold it for 2800, worst 400 i ever spent.

Mujhey bhi miley bahut bakrey. But its rare not norm. 

 

I sold my old 75,000 PC for 50,000 few years back, but that value of that PC when i sold it was around 40k as per computer hardware experts in Nehru place. So its not impossible to get good return on sale sometimes but its not norm. 

 

 

90% of times,  games which are not critically acclaimed or highly anticipated, dont get buyers at high price.  Lot of people undercut you as well on IVG, which results in price dropping even more. I used to get undercut all the time on ivg.

 

 

 

Anyway, I dont want to drag this discussion any more coz i played it on PC and on PC, there's no better deal than 900Rs EA Pro subscription to play EA games at launch. 

 

PS folks  will not be able to sell or buy used games in future coz digital future is inevitable and it will start with PS6.

PS+ Prices slowly increasing across countries citing "Current Trade Scenario"! It started with Latin American Countries, then included Australia and Asian Countries like SK, Thailand, Indonesia etc! No news yet of EU or India, but don't be surprised if price hike is announced there too (If EU is hiked, India will be hiked as well from what I know)

Tariffs are not on services. They are jusy using the macroeconomic excuse to make money just like every other company.

I dont remember paying more than 1,200 for any game so far (difference between buy and sell ). 1,200 was also for cyberpunk (you know the state at luanch).

Physical on Playstation(&Nintendo) will last up until PS6/Pro & Switch 3 at the very least.

 

By PS7 & Switch 4 it might die but we’ll be nearing our 50’s by then….why worry about distant future…

 

But if anyone is hellbent on making arguments just for the sake of it:-

You sold Veilguard right away without completing it as you didn't like it. I rented it for one month at 800Rs, completed the game and moved on to other games. So we both saved money. We used to rent movies and games past for almost same price.

 

 

I rarely pay full price for games now. I think Ragnarok, Legacy and Stellar  i bought dayone recently.  Almost 90% of games this gen i either bought on discount or via gamepass dayone. I saved alot through Gamepass.

Both PC and Microsoft has 24 hours refund policy. Sony offers worst subscription service and has worst refund policies. 

 

 

As far as digital future is concerned, then We gonna see big push for all digital with PS6 dont you worry.  Now Sony could release  a separate add on for disc drive that you will have to buy on top of 800$ PS6. This is my prediction. Lets see if im completely wrong or half right 

 

 PS folks buying a used copy of Last of Us is not helping Sony in anyway. Its good for consumers but not good for Sony. 

 

Its not in Sony's interest to let used games market grow and Sony knows that PS loyalists will buy PS consoles regardless if there's a disc drive or not. 

 

You telling me Hope will not buy PS6 if there's no option to play disc games at all? . He will buy it dayone and then praise Sony's all digital push and he might also start liking subscription services

They have refund policy but its tough to get refund if you launch the game by mistake. 

 

 

PlayStation refund policy-

 

Refund request has been made within 14 days of the purchase. Game has not been launched after purchase.

 

 

This is Xbox refund policy-

This is Steam refund policy-

 

Steam offers a refund policy that allows customers to request a refund for eligible purchases within 14 days of purchase and if the game has been played for less than 2 hours. This policy applies to games and software applications purchased through the Steam store. 

 

Steam and Xbox allows you to launch and play for not more than 2 hours and then you eligible for refund within 14 days period. Sony doesnt give 2 hour playtime window.

Nintendo refund policy-

 

Nintendo does not offer refunds for digital content (like games, DLC, or subscriptions) once purchased through the Nintendo eShop.

i dont care about traps. they denied me refund (stating i downloaded it) , i did not bother to escalate . Refund might be irrelevant to you but are very relevant to me.

Sony does account specific sales now. I've many times subs being on sale but not in my account.
