From the time it used to be 4499/- down to 2799/- during sale time. 
 

Ever since PS India revised the price to 2999/- last year I haven’t seen a drop in sale. At least not for Current subscribers during earlier this year. Hence the apprehension whether a price drop is even expected to happen when the sale comes around.

Yup, during the Days of Play sale the cards bought from GTS stacked. GTS didn't provide discount in other 1-time sales.

Yeah Sony site may not allow more than one time purchase of 2099/2149. You can buy wallet codes or psn codes at that price from your favorite retailer.

Yup. 2099 was the price, I think that sale was applicable for all retailers.

Yes, I bought last year for 2099 from them last year. Looking to repeat that now

ill buy one check if it works and then buy the 2nd. Worst case will gift it to a friend here.
