According to @WhiteWolf - MS Xbox refund policy is one of the  best - on par with Steam. So just get it refunded and claim it on PS+.

If you directly play it on PS5, it won't. 

You'll need to upgrade to ultimate edition on PS4 before loading it up on PS5 for saves to transfer.
