India reports first virus death:

 

Indian authorities have reported that a 76-year-old man has died in the country after contracting Coronavirus.

The unnamed man died yesterday in the southern city of Kalburgi. There was earlier speculation that he had been infected, but test results were only confirmed to the public today.

All major sporting events around the globe are getting cancelled. 

 

La Liga is the most recent one to get suspended with Real Madrid & Juventus team being put under quarantine. Couple of Leicester players have also developed flu like symptoms.

and maybe since the Symptoms show up so late, possible that the squad and maybe the west ham players are going to have it as well.

They would all have been tested now. If there were any positive cases, we would have known.

Price gouging is astounding when it comes to Hand sanitizer. Chemists are selling generic brands which cost 150-200/50ml.

 

Meanwhile, I just made 2 litres worth of it in my college's lab and following WHO's recipe.

Can be made at home too.

Indian Premier League 2020 has been suspended until April 15 following global concerns surrounding the now-pandemic Coronavirus.

 

"The BCCI is concerned and sensitive about all its stakeholders, and public health in general, and it is taking all necessary steps to ensure that, all people related to IPL including fans have a safe cricketing experience," a BCCI media release signed by board secretary Jay Shah stated.

 

"The BCCI will work closely with the Government of India along with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and all other relevant Central and State Government departments in this regard."
