But lets not forget we would have been much better equipped to handle this situation if govt had focused on spending on healthcare. It was for the benefit of the nation...not just the educated lot and ffs stop acting like medical experts just because you Googled a few articles. Also, Indian's have massive egos. Case and point: individuals who run away from quarantine. So, what do you do? You try to introduce the concept gently, on a Sunday. Lessening the chaos. Give it a harmless title like "Janta Curfew" and everybody is onboard. This is a veiled admission that "things are about to get a lot worse" (if they haven't already). Sooner or later, the Janta Curfew will become more frequent and longer. Especially considering the reality of things may mean that this is the case for the next couple of months and we are just on the brink of a the situation worsening a lot.
