I think MH hospitals have started sending out Covid patients just like that.

Why is the deceased graph a constant (horizontal line)? Seems suspicious.

Because of same scale used for all 4.

We never had more than 200 deaths, so death one doesn’t register any spikes.,

MH hospitals have f**ked up the discharge policy. The state has gone to sh*t, especially Mumbai, Pune and Thane. Our supreme state leader is talking about starting locals from 1st June. Market Yard and Tulshibagh will be opened from 1st June in Pune. Total country cases are over 7200 already, few states yet to report numbers.

No one seems to give two shits about the lockdown regardless, may as open things up. My society has multiple cases, people including the secretary are still roaming around and having gossip meetings, quite a few of them without masks too.

Except Kerala, this seems to be the case across the country. Why bother maintaining the pretense ?

Is that the reason for the abnormally high recovery numbers today? I thought it was because they updated the stats that must have been lagging behind?

No idea. Maharashtra is a classic case of andher nagri me chaupat raja. Who knows what's actually happening. 8101 cases in India. Highest per day count.

They surely can't be all discharged today. At this rate Mumbai will have 0 patients in 3 days. Which would make no sense because even in the best of scenarios, it should take many weeks to get the epidemic under control. And a very long time after that for the disease to be fully eradicated from the city.

  • But despite the rising number of covid-19 cases, the government has been easing restrictions
  • Meanwhile, President Trump says the US is ending its relationship with the World Health Organization
  • UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak says the government is "in a position" to ease lockdown despite warnings the infection level remains high
  • Confirming changes to the government's furlough scheme, Sunak says employers will be asked to cover National Insurance and employer pension contributions in August
  • People must be prepared for new outbreaks of coronavirus to build up very quickly, the World Health Organization tells the BBC

Basically you cant stop the inevitable. It was meant to be like this.

Countries with the best infrastructure could not contain it, nothing can stop it.

Many countries are in 2nd wave now, India yet to get its peak.

Best thing to do now is private hospitals should start admitting Covid patients , special covid wards, convert stadiums, etc to Covid hospitals as we are well short of beds in India.

Biggest worry is Rural areas where facilities arent upto the mark. Modi warned so early that this should not go Farmers n villages but with workers going this battle is lost.

Lets fight this.

Direct result of discharge policy:

Policeman dies hours after discharge. He was discharged without testing after 10 days. He complained of breathing problem and died.
