1. Like any other viruses, Corona has become less lethal over transmission.

One more I think is that Italy had more older people who got infected. Not 100% sure on that. What about Russia's numbers though, very less deaths there too.

The death numbers reported are wildly inaccurate and always below the actual numbers. If you want to see real death number, take the last 10 year's average for this period and compare it. St Petersberg for eg issued 1500 more death certificates for the city than last year just for the month of May, yet their total Covid death toll is 171. Unless Russia sent troops in Germany to take over Berlin again, these are all pandemic deaths.

You cannot say it hasn't helped but it hasn't been much as effective as some other countries.

India ki Janta is utter Chu and in a way not too different from US. Some people behave reckless, some people didn't have option to maintain social distancing.

 

Any state that failed maintaining L&O and proper contact tracing has failed. Then those politicians cover up by doing PR.

 

Biggest crime they have done is not taking help of Army for L&O out of ego and then not creating temperory hospitals for which they had unlimited time for.

In 2-3 week they could've created a hospital in Shivaji part or any sports complex in Delhi.

 

Then second biggest crime was flouting ICMR guideline for tests, primary contacts, even those who live in same house as the Covid patient were not tested like the guy mentioned in the thread. That girl was positive, her brother should've been saved by testing immediately.

 

Third biggest mistake is of central govt, so many companies created test kits and for certifications, they did not place orders with them to encourage fproduction that eventually discouraged companies to create anti-body quick tests, something which is must to declare a patient recovered and can be quickly done.

Delhi is fast deteriorating.

People are not able to find beds, gets tested...all kind of crap. 

 

Now the journalists who were doing propaganda for MH and Delhi are feeling the heat. 2 prominent journalists in Delhi have kins facing issues.

So far almost no time has been lost in schools. This was supposed to be their summer vacation anyways. They can delay another 2 months without any problems. Don't see the reason to rush opening schools at this time.

Delhi govt have single handed ruined Delhi.  They have withheld the ward level information till date. Since April 28 till June 1st week they did not add even a single containment zone even though the cases were increasing like anything. We had 70odd active containment zones in the last week of may and now we have more than 140 that too has not been updated since last couple of days. 

 

Even people are behaving pathetically. President of our society suggested to keep the society gates closed even after govt had announced the lockdown to be relaxed. But people here were so keen on calling their maids and specifically wanted delivery guys to deliver stuff at their door step as they were too lazy to walk till the colony gate . On top of it they kept referring to a notice which AAP govt had released that RWA cant overrule delhi govt orders and we had to open our society gates for outsiders. Now we have around 15 cases within 500m range. All neighboring apartments reporting cases and all due to Maids. as they dont work in just one house.  

 

Its going to get worse from Monday when malls/religious places open up. Also by the end of next week we will start to see a spike in cases due to lockdown relaxation.

Couple of families in my building also kept insisting on bringing in maids. Fkers think they live Downton Abbey. Washing your plates and cloths yourself for few weeks isn't going to kill you.

Maids have already started coming in our society. Maids, drivers, car washers, everyone. I'm genuinely surprised how lazy people are these days, value comfort over health.

 

But that's actually expected. I see within my relatives itself my cousins who are housewives , wirh maids and domestic help to take care of food, cleaning, etc , cant even take care of their 1-2 kids and need nannies to "help". Thats how lazy people are now.
