Pune: 100 percent recovery in building with highest COVID-19 cases, all 110 patients now virus free

Quote

As many as 110 people in the Bibwewadi society in Pune were tested positive for the virus, forcing the authorities to seal the building and test 500 residents. Fumigation of flats also took place in a bid to curb the further spread of the virus. Now, what can be considered as a huge positive, all 110 patients have recovered from the virus.

Fadnavis whined about this a lot to CM and alleged them for hiding deaths. In morning the utterly clueless and terribly incompetent mayor lady of Mumbai categorically denied these allegations and expressed her massive disappointment for dirty politics by opposition. By evening the actual numbers were out and then I witnessed the most epic interview on TV9 marathi channel. The interviewer completely destroyed the mayor. She had to words and tried her best to deflect the hidden count, but failed.

Anyone knows how the f**k are mayors elected in Maharashtra and what are their actual powers and responsibilities? Almost all of them are some aunties who seem like are handed over seats as part of some quota are something. Our PCMC mayor is similarly utterly incompetent and she even took group photos like a moron and they were posted on official PCMC twitter and facebook. ^^ 8 out of 10 ladies ward seats in mumbai/thane municipal elections are contested by proxy who are either wife/sister/daughter of male politician's. Some of them can't even speak more than one sentence properly.

Any link to the interview?

Dharavi’s unexpected Covid success story has lessons for Delhi, other crowded cities

Dharavi turnaround = Ashwini Bhide

Ashwini Bhide = Mumbai Metro

Same woman who was removed from Mumbai Metro after regime change has got Dharavi in control.

Lesson for ******** of MH.

they are right and wrong.

- people can recover, death rate is only 3%

- one may recover from it if they get medical care on time

BUT....

- Many people don’t know about their comorbids, death rate for people with comorbids is high

- People are dying in India because they are being denied hospitalisation

- Old people are highly susceptible, even if they stay at home, young ones of the house can deliver it to them

- asymptomatic people are biggest danger for everyone

It is a deadly virus with very random chances of getting seriously ill. A good friend's family got hit by COVID with 8 out 11 members of the family getting admitted. 4 out of 8 have fully recovered now and are back at home, 3 have passed away and last one is still in the hospital and is critical. Out of the 3 that couldn't survive, one of them was just 33 years old and the other 2 were below 60 and none of them had any underlying condition. Family is rich so all of them were getting the best medical care that they could get today in this situation.

Take it as lightly as you want at your own peril.
