Good old rajma chawal2421745d4a480fcbb082ef5ab6eadfdc.jpg

Once had rajma chawal a decade back in Punjab or Himachal Pradesh highway region.

They used to empty one whole can of a litre of ghee to make a few plates of rajma chaawal.

Never had something like that, just drizzle some ghee on top, really takes it to another level.

Don't mean to offend you, but you need to make your food a little more presentable before you post.  Or try getting good camera angles / use a filter.  Just check the photos from others in the thread and compare against yours.... just a suggestion !

Well, to be honest not being because mine aren't liked,

I actually don't like filters at all and have a very basic camera.

Over that presentation thing, hmm, ok, I think I shouldn't post here then if they feel unappetizing.

I think he means just pour it in a bowl and then click the pic.:P

I'm sure you must be pouring the curries in some bowl for serving to your family.

No, directly on to the steel plates for final consumption.

Finally someone pointed it out. He otherwise prepares interesting stuff. Should just put it in a bowl which doesn't need to be fancy but just presentable.

Like his older post

Broccoli (and cauliflower) get a lot of these green worms.
We get really fresh broccoli in Bangalore.

But once in a while these little pest creep in. So we soak in hot boiled water with pinch of salt sprinkled.

it also gives lush green color to broccoli.
