So point number one :-always eat well cooked meat

Point number two:- never shake hands with the chef

Point 3: never eat fruits that look like it has been bitten or damaged. Nipah virus spread in india by people eating bat bitten & infected jackfruit.

Safe to say that the new animal won't be bats for sure.

I have thought about buying prasuma stuff but nah man. Too risky. I don't even buy imported stuff knowing about the standards here.

Yeah man. Saw a big a*s white pig being caught and loaded onto a tempo just before I got fined for not wearing mask the other day (mentioned in the Covid thread) forgot all about that scene as I was stopped and fined like a min later

That pig was so huge that at some point you could call it a white buffalo.

And this is happening in Pimpri Chinchwad which is one of the cleanest places.

Could be a pregnant pig. I think they get huge when pregnant.

Also, today was my mom's birthday and we ended up ordering 2kg Italian Biryani from our local caterer. Nothing Italian about it, just that it is cooked in green capsicum paste and 200rs extra than the regular biryani. We were expecting herbs and cheese in it

Steamed broccoli for the sides

Mother-in-law made Saffron dipped China Grass (was a surprise addition :) )

Quick input for pomace olive oil vs extra light olive oil for regular cooking ?

Health related (not taste - someone has had high blood pressure/cholesterol)

Also,pomace is cheaper hence asking.

Olive oil is not good for regular cooking, it is good for garnishing and light cooking.

Like put it in the Falafal.

The reason is that on high heat, the fats in the olive oil break up and they aren't good for health.

Anything Extra-virgin or Cold pressed is better than which are not.

Extra-virgin/Cold-pressed  are done slowly, usually in wooden machineries [Kacchi Ghani]  which don't allow heat to break the acids as they Machines do.

Yes, also started with mustard oil.

Written kachi ghani on it and it's cheap as well.

For light cooking, olive pomace oil won't do ?

Written suitable for indian cooking.

Light cooking ke liye koi bhi Olive lele. Its hardly any difference.

But Health-factor dekhna to go for Extra-virgin lene ka.

Also Olive Oil smoke point is lower than other oils. So never use it for deep frying and the like.

Yeah, pretty useless for regular indian cooking.

Quick google tells me Pomance is made of residue olive pulps, they use Machineries and has Boiling point 240, slightly more than EV.

So nothing really great.

I did lot of research last year on cooking oils.

But that all aside, Sesame, Groundnut & Mustard taste best, coconut too but based on your palate.
