It's an Ooni Koda 16.

Used to be readily available in US/UK but now it's very hard to get, sold out everywhere. Maybe some stores might have a few pieces left.

I was looking for an outdoor pizza oven but these aren't available in India, luckily found a person (probably an importer) who got one from US couple months ago and had it available.

https://ooni.com/collections/shop-all/products/ooni-koda-16

Something similar. https://www.ontn.in/

I checked the link and insta algorithm showed me something similar today. Damn they are tracking us like anything.

anyway this might just be the first item i buy like this.

is this any good?

@kunjanp what are your thoughts on this? Is this ontn thing a good alternative? How much did your Device cost?

This one was recently released. Checked out on Instagram but there weren't many reviews.

The one I got was from an importer who I knew, it costed me 46k. This one is for 30k so price is good and this brand is legit but I can't really say anymore without seeing it.

These specs are fine, stone size means you can make 16" pizza. Honestly it seems good and is easily available. Just check how hot it gets, should be around 900°F/500°C and also check what kind of gas it can take in, sometimes few are compatible with cylinders while others need pipeline. But this seems fine with both.

Gas Tandoor has corroded now due to heat/washing.
Decent for made in sandwich maker, a tad dry.

edit : realised now, news about bird flu slipped my mind.

Bird flu really does scare me.

How is fish problematic?

We've been getting fish, prawn, mutton, pork. We're buying everything except chicken right now.

Can we eat fish and drink milk in a gap of 1 hour ?

Myth or really shouldn't eat even on the same day it is said ?

I have eaten different types of dessert after having fish. The myth in my family is to avoid tea after having fish. We haven't tried doing that. And who drinks tea after fish anyway?

Desert seems fine I guess as milk is less and it is not hot ?

Tea and hot milk might be interchangeably bad then, very commonly said to not eat together.

I read somewhere hot milk has a cooling effect (cold milk has a comparatively heating effect) - didn't understand it of course.

and fish has heating effect.

Apart from imbalance it Also leads to skin pigmentation.

I'll wait more I guess as a precaution, maybe wake up in between to drink it.

Sorry. I meant milk tea. One of my relatives said that one of her relatives got that pigment thingy after drinking tea right after having fish as a dare.

I dont think that white pigments caused by food or anything.

Thats just a myth.

Im not saying there is no problem in eating fish with milk or tea.may be theire duo has some adverse effect.

But that desease has nothing to do with (unusual) eating habits.
