Apart from big eye snapper i have not liked even one of the different varieties. I didn't even like mahi mahi and barracuda. I stick to Surmai, Pomfret and now Big eye snapper. Just randomly available on fresh to home. Never seen it anywhere in the fish market ever. Taste is very close to red snapper. But this one is cheaper on fth. Dunno the regional name.
