That looks delicious. Did you make the base too?

Yes. I did not make the base with yeast cuz i didn't have it at that time. Made with Maida, dahi, baking soda, baking powder, salt and some sugar.

After two months in which I could only use my new airfryer to make french fries, decided to let my mom take over like always.

(It was my dad's birthday this past week, we had our feast a bit late. Almost forgot the beer, cracked it open halfway through the meal.

No, that is how much I had. Pretty big leg pieces frankly, and a bowl of fried rice. Probably could've had another one of these but there were six, and we're three people so I had two of them.

We used the airfryer, so I hope this is turning out more healthy. Doesn't affect the taste at all though :)

The thing that makes it 'Italian' is the (more than usual) addition of Oregano. I think you'd be fine without it. There are several other recipes of a la King which are not the 'Italian' version.

BTW, I've only recently learnt to cook copy dishes off the internet. Since I'm starting off, I don't experiment much. Follow the recipes as much as possible. Still learning the principles of cooking.

Is pomfret a smelly fish? I had tuna recently and it was smelly and tasted horrible. Basa and surmai are tasty.

Every (or most) good fish and that has a stronger taste is smelly.

Yes, pomfret smells as well.

Basa is tasteless.

Pomfret is over-rated if you ask me. Used to love Hilsa when I was non-veg, and that's the only Fresh-water fish I liked.
