Vikongz and medieval Northern Europe is boring and eww setting.

They should have gone to Rome or the Byzantine Empire next instead.

Or even something more exotic like the Achaeminid empire of Persia.

AC Egypt and AC Greece were 10/10 e-Tourism wise.

Ā

The first couple of games already did Rome and Constantinople. But still it would be awesome if they go back to Italy or Turkey

I really wish they do India next. There is so much rich culture and diversity in lanscape that they can cover and would look amazing on next gen. It will not be possible to do the complete country but they can cover 4-5 big maps dedicated to Jaipur for desert, Kashmir for icy landscapes, Shillong for amazing mountains, mumbai for the beach and maybe Kerala for the sections with lots of rivers and boart transport in lush green forests. They can set it up during the 1800s during the rise of EIC and make the assassin as a part of undercover group working to destabilize them.Ā

They'll have to be careful about the religious aspects and it'll be fine, I think.

Ā

The only major drawback (for me), is when an AC game has guns, so if it is set with the EIC as the backdrop, then there will have to be guns.

Ā

Although, I love the fact that they can set it up during the entry of the EIC and culminate the story during the 1857 uprising.

Ssssh, they have just transitioned into this open world map with action combat paradigm, they will milk it for 7 years more, then probably we will see multiple maps.

Would it be because it launched with the next gen consoles?Ā

The map is simply beautiful, i just reached Lunden. I'm also completing quests but keep going through the countryside or on the mountains to appreciate the amazing sceneries.

Ā

Quests are going good so far

I played this on both Series S and One X, and the screen tearing and overall sluggishness on One X is just jarring, even though it looks slightly more crisp if I sit 1 feet away from monitor. It's 1620p vs 2160p. The frame time and screen tearing issues in Watch Dogs and AC Valhalla are atrocious on One X. And first time ever in a console AC game, when you switch to bird, there is absolutely no slowdown or lag or popin and same happens when you synchronise. And coming back from bird to Elvor is instant.

I will replay this game again on PS5 at 60 fps because Ubisoft connect saves your progression across all platforms holy sh*t.

Just shows how bad was cpu in last gen. I am glad they focused on cpu too this time

Same, I tried to take the raven as far as possible from the Eivor and it was just instant. Even if you're in Lunden.Ā

This never happened on consoles. Maybe this always happened on gaming PCs.
