It does have the present day Animus (Layla Hassan). As for being historically connected, I've not yet completed the game - but I think 99% a connection would be revealed either in base game or (most probably) DLCs. It's too early to say. No, I meant does the present day story is meaningful or you can say central to the plot or is it still the same where nothing major has happened since the end of AC3? roun90 Posted November 20, 2020 Report Share Posted November 20, 2020 Coming from Ghost of Tsushima, the combat in this is such a massive disappointment. The arbitrary "Power Levels" that ensure mobs 1 shot you while you do hack sh*t damage, lack of proper stealth or really cool moves. Playing Ghost of Tsushima before this is a mistake. Sucker Punch crafted a better Assassin Game in their very first try than Ubisoft who has been doing it for almost 20 years now.
