Odyssey team learned from mistakes and fixed stuff very fast. Valhalla team ignoring most requested features and continue to add paid items in shop which way better than ingame stuff and all of them affect gameplay. You don't need those paid items to complete the game ofcourse, but it sucks that there's no way to obtain ingame. In Odyssey i was able to obtain all good paid packs ingame for free. Man I loved Odyssey and bought all DLC. No plans to do it for Valhalla In terms of visuals its tough to go back to Odyssey now, I ran it today on Series X and feels underwhelming after seeing GOT on PS5 and Valhalla (not played but from videos).. For someone who want to play Odyssey now, what are the driving points provided its a 100+ hour campaign

But as a game overall, its better than Valhalla imo plus it was supported very well by Quebec team. Valhalla team very good at releasing new over priced paid gear sets which are significantly more powerful and better than ingame legendary sets. Its more buggy and post launch free content is awful till now. As far as Playing Odyssey now, then in my opinion its totally worth playing but you might not enjoy it after playing AC Valhalla and GoT at 60 fps.Sadly Odyssey received no next gen enhancements. Its locked 30 fps. Edited January 3, 2021 by WhiteWolf

i_rock098
First selling XP boosters. Now selling over priced paid gear in single player game. It’s Ubisoft, I would be more surprised if they did not sell that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

XP not a problem in Valhalla. No one should buy boosters. One quest pretty much gives you over 1000Xp which gives 2 skill points instantly, main quests alone will give you enough to finish main story. They fixed XP issues even in Odyssey and free sets really good But Valhala paid gear sets are different story. They went full crazy with gear sets this time. All paid sets are better than ingame sets and bonuses are crazy on them. Lol. One paid set literally gives you infinite healing lol Edited January 3, 2021 by WhiteWolf
Heaven Angel
It'd have got better reception if there were no silly microtransactions like these. Literally sets the game off. There's a merchant right at the front of camp which trades better weapons and armor sets for opals, collect them by travelling the world which is time consuming or just buy from store with real world money. After mandatory building the tent i never visited there.

Odyssey special shopkeeper gave you lot more weapons and sets and special currency to buy those was easily available as well. Reda quests gives very low amount and items costly. AtheK
Did not know they are teaming up with shoes manufacturers to. Though funny collaboration, how is a running shoe related to Valhalla game Shoe looks nice though. https://shop4reebok.com/#!product/GZ8458_zigkinetica
WhiteWolf
. Man some of the side activities in Valhalla are really bad and boring, especially these ones- Cairns Flying Paper Olrag Standing stones. Rest of the side activities are fine

Guest
Assassin's Creed franchise revenue up 50% YoY Record year for Assassin's Creed. Best year since 2012-13 fiscal year. Net bookings up 50% YoY for the AC franchise. Valhalla is fastest selling in the series. Focus on Assassin's Creed will build on top of the RPG recipe seen in recent games. Its incredible how these games continue to sell and break records. Even this review has 12k dislikes. No other game makes you feel disconnected from current gaming landscape than these nuAC games.

gamer_adi
If only Ubi went back to linear experiences like PoP games, but with YoYv revenue up by as much as 50%, got no hope
Sach4life
It is obvious that people like these games. That is why they sell, no real reason to go back to games which weren't selling.
