Rather pump money on dying series. They have expanded the portfolio somewhat, with Ori and Cuphead which are legit great IPs. Also I dont think Halo and Gears are a dying series. Gears 4 was quite fun from whatever I played. But yeah, they have miles to go before they can even compete with Sony in terms of variety of IP. My point is, if the games are exclusive to Windowd store, than i can understand them being referred to as MS platform exclusives. But if a game is playable oj steam as well, then those games aren't MS platform exclusives. They already sold around 50m Xbox one while supporting PC since 2016. Its been working for them and they will continue with it. Plus not everyone can afford a high end PC or play on PC. It's not like everyone's suddenly going to start building gaming PC's just because a few exclusives went multi-platform. Many people buy consoles just to play multiplats like FIFA and CoD anyway.
