I was kinda expecting this. It will be much easier to get your hands on the normal version specially during first few months after launch.

Also this is a very easy way of encouraging people to buy the more expensive version.

Looking at the 70$ games ,digital ps5 in india doesnt look like a good buy.

What are the digital sales like on the PlayStation? I've gotten most of my games from weekly / special sales on the Xbox for 50-60% off

Do prices drop similarly here?

Only title held back on Sony’s side is Forbidden West

Visually Nothing much to worry about. Everyone agrees that horizon forbidden west is by far the most graphically impressive next gen title revealed so far. Not worried about the visuals at all but let's see if the gameplay/design/ ai is limited by it being cross gen.

if you go to playstation store india website and check prices of older games for ps4 , you will notice almost all the older games are more expensive than amazon/flipkart etc.

I have no idea about sales though.

This would instantly sell for 32-33k any time of the day.

But I would prefer to stretch it to 39k which is a possibility.

And 10 years from now, a PS5 straight swap would make great sense when normal ps5 would have lost its value.

After reading the article it's looking likely it will launch here in January. The same way how PS4 was launched in January 2014.

Sales are good and regular, games like Witcher 3 GOTY are regularly on sale at 899.

Some newer games are better priced digitally, but for older Sony, Call of duty and Ubisoft games, disks are usually cheaper.

Thats good to hear about the sales but I still feel getting the disc version will be the safer bet and ultimately cost less if you are willing to indulge into the trading/2nd hand market and reselling discs.

Also what is the cheapest way to buy ps plus nowadays?

In the Worst of the worst case scenarios

I walk into cex and take 30k and move out.

And they ll sell it for 39k.

Since they don't have any in stock, Its only fair expecting 39k.

Also some figures :

ebay.com has it out of stock.

And amazon.com starts used at 460 dollars and extends till 700 and more

and 1000s of dollars for new. (Not even accounting for shipping etc)
