However, Take-Two no longer reports digital data on Rockstar Games. So people might still be buying GTA V digitally. ? Physical copies no longer in top 20 USA NPD reports.

Its one of the de facto games that one buys after getting a Switch. As more systems sell, more copies sell

I have not upgraded; I am using the same external hard drive that I used with my PS4. I compared it with have a 1Tb 2.5 inch sata ssd (Samsung 860 QVO) in an enclosure and I did not find a significant difference in comparison. Use an external ssd if you have a spare lying around the house.
