TLDW - SN750SE with a read speed of 3500 Mbps performs as good as the SN850 (8000 Mbps) while playing games.

Right now, the only place where there is any noticeable difference is in copying games from internal to extended storage where the lack of DRAM on SN750SE results in extremely crappy performance.

Not sure what future holds, but even slower specced nVMe drives seem to work fine in PS5 (the PS5 benchmark surprisingly gives comparable read speeds for both the drives - well over 5000 Mbps).

Very Interesting ?

fixed.

nevertheless, this is incredible stuff. might end up buying the 500 GB version if it drops below 6K during sale.

Don't. The low 3.5gbps spec SSDs may work for early PS5 games like Rift Apart but later will fall short of requirement as devs start using full bandwidth. Sony says -

'Not all games are necessarily playable with exactly the same performance provided by the PS5 console's internal Ultra-High Speed SSD, even where the M.2 SSD device's sequential read speed is faster than 5500 MB/s'

Death Stranding Director's Cut Digital Deluxe Edition (phew! that's a long name)
Upgrade is only Rs500 seems very much worth it considering the slew of improvements alone and they also giving new story missions and stuff!

That's lot of value considering the GoT DC which for the $10 ps5 upgrade ( Rs833) barely just added the controller features and the below avg quality japanese lip sync
