Not sure how the copyright laws are here but in the US, first sale doctrine allows you to do whatever you want with discs you buy - rent, sell, shove it your chimney, etc.

Not sure about copyright law in India.

So its legal in the US to rent out ? IF so why isn't anyone doing it ?

US has gaming rental services like GameFly that charge you a monthly fees for renting a fixed amount of games, these are physical discs of course. It’s perfectly legal. However, account sharing isn’t.

Rental service requires a license, the official distributor here can otherwise shut your shop down. It has happened before. You can rent it to your friends/family etc, but if you run a business the distys will come knocking in asking for a cut. Hence the clause "user agrees to not use this license for commercial use".

This article cover so many aspects of VR that works and the ones that should but doesn’t.

One of the key takeaways, there’s not enough interest for VR yet among the mass and hence big publishers are not doing big budget VR titles and even Xbox didn’t/doesn’t care about VR in the in the recent years as they didn’t see their larger consumer base demanding VR Gaming.

I don't know what Sony has against VRR. Even their Bravia lineup has been waiting for a VRR update for ages. Especially the X90 and X95 lineup.

They said their 2022 OLED lineup will support it out of the box.

No idea why they are so sluggish with enabling it for PS5 and their Bravia lineup.

I don't think that is going to happen

Since they made a commitment (officially) that PS5 would support, i guess at some point it has to happen.

It's a side peripheral fad like le Moshan Gaming during the PS360 era

ofc that was alteast grounded in the Wii's success so the other two also thought they'd make easy money, like every other dev/pub putting out live service turds now and in the near future
