Aside from a sticker, GL put a stamp on the discs so they are non-removable. CeX also have a strict policy  not to accept discs with scratches.

Damn the stamp thing is so sneaky just saw it

I also bought Cpunk77 from them this week, was all excited for the next gen patch, having never played before

Now im in two minds, abt returning it asap

First time exp with gameloot

Previously been using gamenation and never faced any issue with them

Switched for a coupon discount ?

I managed to remove the stamp using IPA but holycow it takes a lot of rubbing to remove. This is just outright scumbag practice, not sure why they want to deface discs this way.

@Vaibhavp @hope and others - Stop posting bait on this thread and let others turn every thread into a Versus thread...

Versus thread is not locked for the weekend so keep your rants there

Thank you.

It seems this Vaibhav guy deliberately comes to spoil the thread.

That stamp might come off if you use some pure rubbing alcohol or Sanitizer with high alcohol content. Careful though try with a little swab so you don't f**k up the CD print, depending on what material they used for the disc face print.

Another more impractical method is to use some kind of disc resurfacer if you get access to it. Or tell gameloot that you bought it from them only and (in case you didn't scratch it after you got it) that they should take it back.

Most people would not bother taking these steps for something insignificant. Though it is straight out vandalism of the discs. Difficult to prove such scratch claims. Best is not to buy from GL again unless you’re really desperate.

This. I tried, spoke with them twice bro

Lets see what happens

They said they are not testing it as a minor scratch is visible lolx

I mean cmon bruh. Almost Every pre owned disc we buy from these sites has a small scratch if you look hard enough

This is just dissapointing ?
