Only saving grace is because it's not a proprietary standard, a couple of years down the line as pc users start adopting it, the prices will come down just like nvme SSDs. If the sata hdd drops to < 10k (which it should since the f**king mrp is 11k) I'll take the plunge as my laptop needs to get its HDD replaced with an SSD. And upgrading the laptop isn't worth it for my limited use. For my use case the PS5's 600gb is more than enough. The extractor is to make the dials on mixamp functional. No optical port on PS5 means an extractor is needed unfortunately.As per the information from Sony, tempest audio is not supported on hdmi as of now. It is only available through usb or controller. No. I had actually done this before I got the PS5. I had asked a friend from the US to activate the PS plus collection for me (I didnt know Sony was issuing bans for it lol). So I had a played off a disc for a bit. and then played from the digital PS Plus edition, both with the same save file and both on the PS4. I imagine it should work on the PS5 as well.
