By the picture you've posted it looks safe bro.. you PS5 isn't gonna vibrate nor the woofer beside going to do anything even with full volume and bass.

But if you're that paranoid then try putting the PS5 in horizontal position. But vertical looks fine and won't cause any issues if you ask me.

Not worried about the bass, its just the Wobble that scares me

Overall results are not unlike what we discovered when comparing the PS5 to GeForce RTX 2080 laptops last November. The maximum TGP targets between mobile GeForce 20 and mobile GeForce 30 GPUs are almost the same because these chips are limited to the cooling potential of existing laptop designs. Even our most power-hungry Ampere laptop, the large 17.3-inch Schenker XMG Neo 17, averages only 187 W when gaming to be just barely on par with the Sony console. The laptop can potentially draw more power at up to 259 W, but this is only when the processors are at maximum load which never occurs during gameplay.

Quick question - how to charge dualsense controllers without PS5 and charging station? Without any problems to dualsense.

I have been using a normal 5V 3A charger and also an 18W fast charger which also charges at 9V 1.67A. Working just fine, charging from 1 bar to 3 takes around 2hrs on the former and around 1.5hr on the latter.

Wasn't this expected?

 Also

"The power consumption of the PS5 is surprising not because of how high it can be, but for how close it is to the fastest gaming laptops currently available retailing for at least 5x the price of the console. That's a lot of power per dollar console gamers are getting this generation."

I guess my mobile charger will work then. Will try this.

  • Higher chroma bandwidth on PS5. Chroma channels appear to roll off on Series X
  • PS5 renders gradations in a smoother manner than Xbox Series X
  • PS5 outputs 12bit YCBCR444, Series X outputs 10bit RGB
  • 4K playback is not bit-perfect on either player
  • Series X skips a frame or two when skippng ahead or behind in a film
  • Series X mishandles pure 24fps blu-rays, resulting in a stutter/frame skip every ~42 seconds

I assume the PD standards are very well imposed on Dualsense. So I don't think there will be any problem with using even faster chargers (45-60W) but just to have the piece of mind, stick to 18W or below as much as you can.

C'mon, people can't be expected to read things. Its asking too much.

Is it me or anyone feels like they don't need the ps5 now ? Like I can easily wait for 3-5 months. This thread only got me on the FOMO train :fear: Now that all the fizz is gone I think all those without one might have the same feeling ?!!?!??!

Now that Amazon has finally delivered, Flipkart is dropping units left and right. I even got to see the Add to Cart button for the first time ever. I am running short on gaalis.

Yeah, at least 5-6 units came in but they are putting it out in stock 1 by 1 and bots are snapping them up immediately.

I am with you on this. I think it is better to wait out the hype. It is better to buy after a year when quite a few exclusives roll out.

Exactly. It's the most obvious thing ever. That story doesn't even make sense as clickbait.

Atleast the PS5 is being listed on Flipkart, Series X is nowhere to be seen. Few days ago even I got to the payment page for PS5 even though I'm not looking to buy a PS5, by the time I could even enter cvv its out of stock, impossible to get it with the bot spamming going on.

It's recommended not to use the 9V fast charger. It may overheat the battery, like it did with DS4s.

Always safer to stick with 5V.
