There are more than 100M PS4 users who don't have a PS5 and don't care about upgrade. Exactly man, it's a brilliant game by all standards and would have been touted as a win if it wasn't for it coinciding with the PS5 version announcement. Regarding locking ps5 upgrade for free plus game, devs also need some incentive to provide upgrades. And they are giving away free upgrades for paid owners so i really don't see the issue.
