It seems like the whole industry is heading that way. Even Nintendo , though keeping the base price @60, is trying to increase the price by paywalling essential in game features behind amiibos and selling them individually @20-25 dollars extra, taking the whole price of the package to around 80 dollars. Buddy india is not that big a market for sony. Us indians are used to overpriced games. Some will buy at full price and the rest will buy when the prices go down. Won't bother sony a bit. Nobody cares about 100 less copies it'll sell in India in grand scheme of things. If you're talking about WW then Returnal was already sold out at major retailers before release. Atleast that's the trend in india. Maybe some sony india protocol or something. Ps- I strongly believe 5k is too steep a price as well.
