Disappointed to see the discounts on the next gen games though. I guess it's too early for 50%+ discount rates.

Yes I get that from a business standpoint but not as a consumer lol. Demon's Souls is still 4K+ even at a sale...that's saying something . As someone who prefers the digital ecosystem rather than physical, I obviously don't enjoy it. To be honest, PSN sales have been mostly great for me. I just bought Catherine for 1200.

Perfection demands time. GOW: Ragnarok is going to be a huge system seller, whenever it arrives. HZ:FW is an appetizer for what's to come.

This show is largely focused on Horizon. I am sure we would have a bigger/E3 type show within next two months. You can't show a 14-15 minute gameplay presentation of a single game in those type of shows

Also I'm patient enough to wait for sales for the smaller stuffs. It's not like I don't have a big backlog of 10+ games that I'll probably never complete

 

I just don't like owning discs as changing games becomes a chore. Also it's much faster and quieter

It's easily the best site for tracking psn games prices. You can even set email notifications.

Irony being Last of Us 2 is going for 2k or less brand new in physical. You need the physical version console if you want to economize

It's a State of Play. Those generally focus on a very in depth look at 1 game, including such stuff as long gameplay segments etc. For God of War, you will have it's own separate State of Play, that will come after this and go in depth only for GoW:R. I don't know if this will happen, but there might also be an SoP for Final Fantasy 16, since it's PS5 exclusive, that is expecte to release before GoW:R. The you have shows during the general times of E3, where Sony will announce all the new stuff (But go in-depth with nothing)

I heard Sony had a dispute with E3 Committee. Hence, they started SoP and their own shows (Copying Nintendo BTW). They might very well go to the other shows like Gamescom or the Tokyo Game Show.

 

If the Covid situation continues, there are chances MS will also follow suit, and then E3 will be dead.
