Zero chance. Most of their customers don't give a sh*t about such things.

Maybe. But this is a major concern for Activision leadership dealing with the PR disaster, multiple employee walkouts affecting marketing and development of their games and lost revenue.

Yes I heard the customers claiming not to buy COD and actually bought it. But this time it could be different.

Also I think it needs to be proven in the court law to declare anyone guilty

Not on a social trial

So hating/boycotting on them just on the bases of circulating comments ain’t right IMO

We need proven evidence verified by law

Social media posts are great circumstance  evidence as they show their mindset.

But still an investigation of ground reality is required

Yes. But having cold hard facts are rare and difficult to obtain. Not like CSI tv shows.

Social media posts and testimonies from multiple people are good grounds for investigation.

Testimonies in a court room

is there any news of a trial or any official legal complaint yet?!?

"Video game giant Activision Blizzard Inc., maker of games including World of Warcraft and Diablo, fosters a “frat boy” culture in which female employees are subjected to constant sexual harassment, unequal pay, and retaliation, according to a lawsuit filed by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

A two-year investigation by the state agency found that the company discriminated against female employees in terms and conditions of employment, including compensation, assignment, promotion, and termination. Company leadership consistently failed to take steps to prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, the agency said."

According to the complaint, filed Tuesday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, female employees make up around 20% of the Activision workforce, and are subjected to a “pervasive frat boy workplace culture,” including “cube crawls,” in which male employees “drink copious amounts of alcohol as they crawl their way through various cubicles in the office and often engage in inappropriate behavior toward female employees.”

The agency alleges male employees play video games during the workday while delegating responsibilities to female employees, engage in sexual banter, and joke openly about rape, among other things.

Female employees allege being held back from promotions because of the possibility they might become pregnant, being criticized for leaving to pick their children up from daycare, and being kicked out of lactation rooms so male colleagues could use the room for meetings, the complaint says."

It'll be hilarious if this guy is just riding the Hype to promote his little indie game.

Not really interested in MGS or SH so I really wanna see the outrage when that happens.

Sony wouldn’t have allowed it to go this far

obviously they are involved with him hence the eyepatch & wooden door images are allowed to be used

Only heard of Tales of Arise and Lost

Judgement

1) Tales of Arise - Sep 2021

2) Lost Judgement - September 2021

3) Fatal Frame - October 2021 (Not AAA, but AA - it looks awesome and brings back memories of old Silent Hill and Siren games)

4) Shin Megami Tensei V - November 2021

5) Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker - November 2021

6) Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl - November 2021

Yup, there is still tons left for Japanese video game fans in 2021. All this, after the games that just got released (This last month) like -

1) Monster Hunter Stories 2

2) Neo: The World Ends With You

3) Scarlet Nexus

4) Ys IX: Monstrum Nox (PC Version)

And so much more. It's like  we don't know where to spend the money. An excellent year for JRPG games.

This time, they will. This sh*t has blown up in a massive way. It has gone over to the national media. Blizzard employees are staging walk-outs, strikes and dharnas. Streamers are moving on, and taking their communities with them. Blizzard is essentially under complete lockdown and Activision head honchos are being forced to respond. For the first time in almost 20 years, development of World of Warcraft has completely stopped. There are reports of employee morale being at an all time low, and even those coming to work are not being able to get anything done. New reports are coming in every day, that is more and more horrifying and damaging.

If nothing else, at the very least we are looking at a full on restructuring of the entire company. I doubt there will be any new games from ActiBlizz this year at least.

It's kind of really sad. There is no excusing what these devs have done. It's horrifying reading about it. Blizz Game quality has also gone to the gutter over the past 5-6 years or so as well. But at the same time, I do remember the time when Blizzard was at their peak. The time when they used to put out games like Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 - which defined a lot of people's childhoods. Those games were so epic that they lingered in the mind, long after being completed. Even WoW used to be such a massive movement. A game that defined a genre, and created an entire World. A game that had concurrent 12 million players at the same time. The community was massive and every small stuff used to be etched in Gamers' memories.

There is no excusing the devs behavior (If they are even the same devs who were there then or were brought in by Activision), but it's sad to see it die like this.

Maybe I'm just too cyncial but I don't see much changing. Even At Ubi nothing changed. People are still unhappy. Few goats were sacrficied but culture is the same.

I love JRPGs a lot. But a lot of it can even be enjoyed by people not into JRPG/Anime. You are going to love Scarlet Nexus. It's action gameplay is one of the best in the industry. The amount of combos you can do, the powers you juggle and the fights are mind blowing. The story is also really great. FF14 is an MMO (But with one of the best stories out there). Lost Judgement is Yakuza of course. Shin Megami Tensei V is by the creators of Persona 5, so there is a sh*t ton of expectations. Tales of Arise is also looking really good.
