Dumbshit "game journalists"

The financials show a complete breakdown of the acquisitions of JPY 850 bn which translates to USD 7.4 bn at exc rate of approx 115.

The gaming and network services accounts around 45% of this.

7.4*45%=~USD 3.4 bn.

Now what tf is unannounced here?

Also note thag the 18 bn will also be used for share buybacks, so not everything is going to be used for acquisitions.

Certainly don't have 4x the amount of bungie acquisition. (18-7.4)*0.45 = USD 4.77 Bn till Mar 24.

Extract below.

The financials are a very good document btw. Great for people who want to understand their business better. Better to get info from source rather than believing your favourite "game journalists".

What Bungie means to them

Clearly says they want to move into live service games which is a very clear term. Rather than using vague terms so uninformed people can claim random traditional games as live service.

Also a very helpful presentation of accounting treatment so uninformed people don't get puzzled by their absence on the income statement.

Sadly, people’s ability to read has taken a massive hit while their ability to bullshit has taken a massive flight

The gaming journalist comment really rustled your jimmies eh?? :giggle:

"The amount of capital allocated to strategic investments, including the acquisition of Bungie...and repurchases of Sony stock, from the beginning of this fiscal year until today, and including acquisitions and asset purchases that have closed as well as those that have been decided but not closed, totals approximately 850 billion yen."

What rustled my jimmies some schmuck dismissing domain knowledge with a tweet from some schmuck with zero domain knowledge.

Decided but not closed means docs signed but transaction closure pending (just like Bungie). Certainly no gaming acquisitions unannounced. It's simple arithematic.

On a side note (18-7.4)*0.45 = 4.77. How many major game publishers can that acquire?

TBH his post is much better than 99% of the "gaming journalist" tweeted on the thread.

I am sure had Ank carried on the same behavior as you, he would have been "warned". Different rules, eh ? ;)

really?

pointing out that some people have more insight into what’s going on in a certain company is considered trollish behaviour , yet sh*tting on their jobs is not??
