You have a kc3000 right? Using a heatsink with it? How's the performance so far?

Its very good, no slowdowns or heating issues. I got 6500 MB/s in PS5 test so it is slightly faster than S70 Blade, but it shouldn't make a difference in real life.

Why do you guys buy extra hard disk for storage? Can't you just delete the completed/old games and re download them as and when required?

Internet speed is no longer a bottleneck in India.

Achieving 100GB game to hard disk takes about 15 min, no internet in India can download 100GB in 15 min, especially on PS5 which gets like 700Mbps on 1Gb connection. And if you have disk based installs that'll take 40+ minutes to copy and install from the disk again.

Nice! Good to know.

Have you applied a heat sink to the kc3000?

How many of you guys believe that upcoming PS5 model will just be a modular update with optional disc drive and not actual upgrade like PS5 Pro?

PS5 Pro is ages away.. there are handful of native games for the current gen itself and we are still getting games for PS4... 2025 is bare minimum for the refresh IMO

Don't think Pro is happening this time. Their idea for PS4 Pro was to stop people from jumping to PC (Andrew House quote) and sell 4K TVs, now they put their games on PC so they don't really care. PS5 slim should be their next target, and maybe increase the onboard storage.

hey guys, quick suggestion on buying a used PS5

one of my friend is selling his 4 months old PS5 disc version and asking price is 53k

comes with Bill & Box and GT7 disc... is it worth buying the same

New is around 59k right with the horizon code? You can sell the code for 2k and 57k will be landing cost. i would say no , but depends if you can land a new one.

I would suggest offer him 52k . And then sell GT7 disc for 1000-1300 . So your net cost would be around 51k. That's fair price with 8 months warranty left .

Also next drop will be in Jan and might be with GOW-R code and will probably sell for 59.5k . You won't get more than 3k for it's code ( and its not easy selling these either) .

We have more information on the confirmed project Neil Druckmann is working on at Naughty Dog

- A game structured more like a TV show than anything else Naughty Dog had made!

- Not writing the script alone, or with a single partner assembling a writers’ room.
