Its an issue with the liquid metal accumulating on one part of the chip while leaving the other part naked causing oxidation. Need to reflow the liquid metal evenly. Mine was kept vertical so it can be that the liquid metal dried out but in this video when he fixes the first PS5, he spreads out the LM but still faces the same issue.
