But getting stuck with the bulge of the disc drive forever even if in future you don’t need a disc drive is something that I hope hasn’t been overlooked. As for the pricing ppl who expected price drop had unrealistic expectations to begin with considering all hardware unanimously increased prices which includes every from VR to Phones. SeriesS 1tb is literally selling for $350 which has severe capability issues when compared to PS5Digital at just $50 more. No one even bothers to talk about that coz frankly no one gives a sh*t about those potatoes 🥔 anymore But hey it’s hot cake PS so we gotta dump on every move it makes!! It’s not about just Xbox….it’s the market condition since even Meta Quest Increased prices significantly mid way which has traditionally never happened for any hardware. It now comes with this weird kind of clip like stand if you keep your console horizontal. For vertical stand you have to pay additional $30. Should have been part of the package like before. But I guess since they can’t combine the use of vertical & horizontal stand now after the design changes,they were separated. Not explicitly confirmed. The blogpost has very little info. It says PS5 console covers, so I guess they are different from side panels. Logically, the side panel will be included if you buy the disc drive. However, it says only the digital has the ability to add a disc drive, so unless they specify, we should assume the disc version’s drive is non removable. Yeah that’s late considering PS4pro was out 3 years after PS4. PS5pro will be 4 years after PS5 which is similar to XBoneX which was a commercial failure due to M$ outright abandoning it the moment Next Gen was announced. Every system should have a 4-5 year support to the very least. But I guess this generation will be longer than previous one so PS5pro will do just fine.
