I don't have the tweet link but someone asked the head of Sony marketing department via tweet regarding stellar blade update and he tweeted to have patience and it's coming.

Stellar Blade looked to be in a really good shape.

But the silence since is concerning yeah.

 

Also even if 2 China hero games shine….it’ll be a great show.

We only have the Game Awards left for the year. I think only Genshin Impact made the most impact in the world stage from an Asian developer outside of Japan.

TLOU Factions 2 has a strong chance of getting canceled or getting pushed back until TLOU3 to be released as a side component.

 

HellDivers 2 is just arriving with no changes in release.

 

Firewalk (Concord) & Haven (FairGame$) were acquired just recently so these studios aren’t really any pressure & neither would the Publishing department.

Haven in particular was acquired after it gave confidence to Sony regarding it’s new project.

 

Marathon is by Bungie & they can’t be doubted…..least from the bots 🤖  

 

 

MLB is a yearly franchise & not even an exclusive anymore to be concern trolled….Needless to say the studio is master of what it does best.

 

Horizon Multiplayer hasn’t even been officially announced yet…..let alone the mobile version which is only in speculative Twitter talk.

& It’s been hardly a year & a half since HorizonFW so how much time would they have “wasted” anyway?!?  

 

London Studios had been making Singstar,Eye Toy & PSVR games for the last two decades!!

So whatever they do & whatever they try & even fail with…..would be still better for us core gamers! 👍🏻

 

 

With all the Doom & Gloom to hide & ease the pain by the rivals about Playstation being in the best position as a brand since PS2 days & literally outselling the closest rival by more than 3:1…..the core machinery of Playstation Studios & Second/Third party relations is still intact!!

 

Apart from Naughty Dog maybe…..no one has “wasted” any significant time & most likely the work put in by them on Factions 2 will show fruits at some point in the future if not as Standalone title but as supplementary game mode just like Resistance Multiplayer,Metal Gear Online,Uncharted Multiplayer,GoW Multiplayer,Factions 1,Bloodborne Multiplayer,GoT Legends,Returnal Co-op etc.

 

Those were some very good supportive add ons to the base games that wouldn’t have warranted stand alone releases otherwise but were pretty great value for money as a part of the full package.

 

Playstation dominance in core console gaming isn’t going anywhere it seems up until it is inevitably ended by Cloud streaming a decade or so from now.

Personally i think the focus back on SP was a good thing ,even if that meant few unannounced mp titles had to face the axe. 15 MP games is unprecedented and an overkill IMO.

that rumor also said that the lady who was let go was against the Gaas push and was hence fired. 
 

so basically, sony is scaling down gaas games but the lady who was against Gaas titles was also fired. Only delusional bot clowns can come up with such logic.

2 new studios

 

1 that doesn’t even involve core gaming 

 

2 that are churning out sequels & have no chance of getting canceled.

 

1 that is the most successful service based creator in console history 

 

1 that barely got done with it’s last game & subsequent expansion

Apart from the studios that I mentioned….there was never any confirmation as to who is working on what,everything is Twitter & Redit murmuring.

 

15 service based games was the target with the span of coming many years……& we all know how targets change on the go according to market conditions.

 

As for the silence regarding what Bend,Suckerpunch,Second ND team,Bluepoint,London Studios,Media Molecule,Team Asobi are working on is more to do with Sony’s approach of not revealing their projects until they are substantially into post production.

 

They just don’t want to announce games like FF7R,Death Starnding,Days Gone,TLOU2 etc & make ppl wait 5+ years till they finally get hands on.

 

Demon Souls,MilesM,Ratchet,HorizonFW,GT7,GoW,FF16,SM2,FF7R2 were(/will)released within ~2 years of announcement.

 

So going by that recent trend….whatever Sony announces in 2024 will see light of day by 2026 max.

 

2024-2025 as I posted above has enough games lined up already if all goes well & even half of these pull through.

It’s mostly design to be size,cost,power effective & targeted towards the less enthusiastic gamers who didn’t buy on launch & hardly care about the looks.

 

Also I’m guessing they didn’t drop the price coz they wanted to bundle in COD at launch.

Next year it will most likely have a price cut.
