Does CoD Cold War have an active base ? Don't want to buy anything new, would like to maybe just get something which was/is on PS plus. Or maybe any of the BF which are still active ?

Cold War was getting match made in 5-10mins till last year.

Can’t say about now.

You can try MW3 if you have GamePass.

 

BF2042 is pretty active & you get 124p lobby on 90-125ping instantaneously.

 

Other good option is Overwatch 2 which is F2P but is more of a hero shooter than FPS.

Valorant is there too but more like CounterStrike+Overwatch.

So Cold War is dead, BF2042 has many active servers which are around 120-130 ping, trying to get the hang of the game.

Nothing was nerfed as such till last I played.

lasor canon nerfed with would one shot charger. i think its called q-99 or something.

enemy spawn rate changed.

must be playing a different game then. plenty of people talking about it. also i last played 1 or 2 months back when this happened, esp that laser nerf pissed me off

 I still use them. Infact most of the weapons got buffs

 

 Best you play the game for yourself and not listen to ragebaiters on YouTube and reddit

They must have 100% changed it then . All of this was when I played the game, sadly I don't record or would have posted it here.

TLOU Factions 2 in particular should have never been canceled.

 

Should have been released as F2P or Like Grounded Upgrade in whatever form.

Factions 2 should never be developed/should be cancelled. At Factions 2 cancellation, ND mentioned they have a choice between Factions 2 or SP games full time.  The LOU3 and rumored sci-fi game would not in development for a long time if Factions 2 succeeds. Also Sony would pour more investment in GAAS in other SP developers if Concord and Factions 2 succeed.

 

I still miss the old Bungie and SP games like Warcraft III.

Not really 

What they mentioned was that for the project to be fruitful in the long run as a GaaS they’d have to make that choice.

 

For it to be just another add on component like previous UC,TLOU MP components or even Grounded they’d just have to release it one off & move on.

 

That should have been the approach to begin with.

No disc drive?
Unfortunately, we're not quite sure about this yet. After all, the visual we have is of a PS5 Pro without a disc drive. However, and even if we don't think this will be the case, we're not aware of the existence of an edition with a disc drive. Although it will undoubtedly be possible to affix a disc drive (as with the PS5 Slim), we think this is more a commercial choice on Sony's part, in order to launch this console onto the market at a competitive price by reducing the cost of the (optional for some) presence of a disc drive.

 

Announcement date: Although Sony's plans can change at any time, the PS5 Pro will be announced very soon. We expect the announcement to be made in the first half of September 2024.
