Wireless earphones should be fine in that case. You can also connect wired headphones to your controller if that is something you are comfortable with. He asked for cheapest & best option. Yeah cushion is a problem but only if you keep it in less ventilated space for too long. Busted my cushions on both PSgold & PSplatinum for the same reason but thankfully realised it’s available for pretty cheap online for replacement on latter instance.
