If they were or are interested in future then you will not see exclusive on PC dayone. I mean they want you to buy X but its not their main goal. Their main goal is Game pass and provide steady stream of content for Game pass. Sony exclusives were selling big numbers during ps2 days but failed to recreate same numbers during ps3 days. I personally am so eager because I sold my PS4 quite some time back, imagining that I will be playing some of my most anticipated games on PS5 via backwards compatibility. I only had a base PS4 and wanted to experience those games in the best way possible. So even if PS5 only supports PS4 pro mode, and not specific enhancements for PS5 over that, it will still be good enough for me. So I have Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman (and miles morales), Nioh 2, FF VII remake just from PS4 era. Then I am crazy excited about Demons Souls remake. So I have had a long wait and Sony India now dithering at the last moment is really getting on my nerves. Not sure about others, but this is my case and why I am so impatient. Only thing selling well was gran turismo and maybe ape escape or socom. Third party exclusives are the one which did all the heavy lifting during that gen.
