Many games had 60 fps option. And many more games had exclusive 4k modes and HDR support. None of such exclusivity so far with PS5 pro.

Hardly any game was touching 60fps.

Infact most were just ~45fps at 1080p.

Specially on PS4pro.

 

Infact most of the times performance mode tried to lock it at 30fps with better fidelity at 1080p.

 

PS5pro is evidently much more of an upgrade than PS4pro was thanks to PSSR & RDNA4 RT.

The uncompressed video on DF member site makes the Pro version look like what FF7 PS5 version looked compared to PS4. sh*t looks tack sharp while running at 60fps locked, its uncanny.

This is fine but slightly falls short of I was expecting. I will wait for more actual analysis of DF after pro is launched and then pull the plug to see if it's that much of an upgrade over PS5. Or even wait for a killer game that shows how much PS5 pro is a necessity compared to PS5.

Yeah dont rush. You should wait for proper analysis. I suggest wait till Rockstar shows how GTA6 runs on Pro. If it's 60fps then definitely pick it up.

 

Xbox One X was much bigger jump from Base Xbox one. Base Xbox one was running games at 720p with low-medium graphics and then we got big jump where games like RDR2  were running at native 4k at high settings.

Even XBoneX couldn’t run flawless 60fps at a 900p-1080p Resolution.

 

FF15 was pretty sluggish on XBoneX.

 

FF7R2 & FF16 running at great fidelity with locked 60fps is proof that PS5pro is a huge jump even in comparison to XBoneX vis-à-vis XBone.

 

We have proof now….words don’t matter…

Mai toh lunga he bhai….It’s been 2 years since I have PS5.

In 4th year I will most definitely upgrade.

 

Since PS4 I’ve been upgrading system after every 4 years of simultaneous play.

Pro bundle includes the grey colored disc drive cover but not the disc drive itself

Damn I installed game this weekend (like 3rd time now, already have disc as well) to give it another chance. Will uninstall it if these rumors are true

Presumably targeted yes.

But no one can be sure this early.

 

Recently AMD won another bid over Intel to be on board.

 

 

Won’t be surprised if it’s digital only & disc drives will be disbanded as the last remaining disc format Blu-ray is rumoured to be discontinued in coming few years.
