AnK
No mention of PC specs in description. No point comparing. 2lkh machine will obviously give better results than ₹65k machine.

He's not mentioned the PC spec for max settings, but considering the spec needed for high settings 60fps from SE, bet the rig costs a lot. PC looks better, but very little change for about three to four times the money. Not worth it imo.

Snake
https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/confirmed-forza-horizon-5-is-the-next-title-to-make-the-leap-from-xbox-to-playstation The next Xbox game being ported over to PlayStation 5 is Playground Games' Forza Horizon 5, the Xbox teams revealed on Thursday. Over the past year, Microsoft has made no secret of its plan to begin launching more and more games on the PlayStation ecosystem. Sea of Thieves was among the first, then Indiana Jones was announced, and now, Microsoft is going even further. Forza Horizon 5 is one of Microsoft's most successful games in history, serving tens of millions of players. The flagship racing game is the gold standard for the genre, and is a multi-award winner. It's also a huge money maker for Microsoft, owing to its live service nature, on-going updates, and in-app purchases. Forza Horizon 5 first launched back on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows PC in November 21. The game was a roaring success, rapidly reaching over 20 million players and, like its predecessors, achieving critical acclaim. Detailed on Forza Horizon 5's website, developer Playground Games discussed its partnership with Panic Button, and a new update coming dubbed "Realms." "The PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 5, developed by Panic Button Studios in partnership with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, will have the same content as the Xbox and PC releases of the game. Previously released Car Packs, as well as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions, will also be available for purchase. We are excited to see the Forza Horizon 5 community grow with new players on PS5, and we can't wait to see the creativity and skill these new creators, builders, and racers will bring to our vibrant community. In addition to bringing Forza Horizon 5 to PS5, we're working on a special new free content update for all platforms, Horizon Realms. Realms will give players the chance to explore a curated collection of some of the community's favorite previously released Evolving Worlds, alongside some other surprises. Stay tuned to our channels for more details soon." Edited January 30 by Snake 1

gecko89
At this point, I see Xbox right next to EA, Capcom, Ubisoft. It's no longer a competitor, just another group of studios making games for my preferred platform 😊

roun90
What did people expect when Satya's and Phil's stated goals from the beginning was to move away from traditional gaming and to become the "Netflix" of games? You make Gamepass worthwhile and be Netflix by being available on all devices! They've used traditional console sales as a crutch till their library expanded (all those studio acquisitions), they've spoon-fed people and gradually made them used to the idea that they're going 3rd party! Soon enough they'll most likely expand GP to more platforms too (To PS if there's no new Xbox or later on), but most likely ultimate goal would be - wait for xCloud and then put GP on all devices including Switch, Mobiles, PS etc I guess! Its mostly Satya. Phill and his entire team now following order of top management and whoever replace him will continue to follow Satya's vision. Satya only cares about subscription based services, he dont care or believe in traditional console hardware. Satya made it clear long back he hates console exclusives. https://www.ign.com/articles/microsoft-ceo-if-it-were-up-to-me-id-get-rid-of-exclusives#:~:text=Satya Nadella "has no love, away from exclusive games altogether. Just my opinion and I don't know the man's head, but I think ki Satya is of the opinion that console market is saturated (as in there won't be more new nos.) @AnK was right when he said paying huge money but not being able to make CoD exclusive was a full death knell to MS exclusives too (That was a huge investment, Acti-Blizz is not a small firm, coming in just a few years after Bethesda) For new Hardware, I'm thinking it'll be a price game now! If no new HW, GP comes to PS or merged somehow with PS+ (If Sony allows of course)! If HW comes, they'll bank on making it much cheaper than PS6 while going in for Cloud support (and try to still put GP on PS, so they don't lose on revenue or make GP exclusive for now) and compete on price! That's the only way I'm able to think of that makes sense to me right now!

It has to have some really new innovative features that we havnt seen before or no one will care. It will be a windows based OEM PC like ROG Ally. No developer would(rightfully) have to develop for it separately!! All Steam,Windows,Epic store games will be available on it. They are developing it mostly because they can’t leave the business cold turkey after selling a massive amount of digital ownership!! All your Xbox games will be converted into Windows PC code ownership. The ones not available will be ported under the “Forwards Compatibility” program being tossed around!! Apart from this they have no vision for hardware platform anymore!!

Some other Rumors are MS planning to integrate Steam in next hardware. Edited January 31 by Zod

Initial plan was obviously to ship the already inked games & then boot PS from COD!! But it turned into current deal+ 2 years then +10 years & then +15 years. So obviously after all that happened it was useless trying to sell more Xboxes & continuing to give more freebies to bots!! Infact they are literally avoiding more ppl to buy Xbox & subscribe to Gamepass by literally pulling Xboxes off the shelves let alone giving at a price cut like PS5 is doing & what usually happens after 3-4 years!! They just don’t want more free riders!!

If it’s Windows based like surface then by default Steam will be a part of it!! ROG Ally already has Steam,Xbox,Epic store all at once because it’s Windows based. No revolutionary integration required!! M$ is basically quitting the proprietary hardware business….no more royalties(as if they were getting any). If rumors are true if they somehow managed to release a solid nextgen hardware with reasonable price and integrate Steam with it along with Gamepass then its dayone for me. It will be my PC/Xbox. But if just more powerful SX with no unique or any different feature then i will stick with PS6 only. Its DoA Edited January 31 by Zod
