COD games are never that cheap on any proper legit store

It’s illegal & can get your console banned in the long run.

Pro will work in India, no issues. You will just not have wifi 7 features, just WiFi 6.

It will work on Wifi 7 if you have a WiFi 7 router.

 

If not only then it will switch to WiFi 6 or below depending on what you have.

 

That’s the reason government is not allowing it….if it had an indian specific firmware which would disable Wifi 7 entirely then it would launch the very next day.

But India is too niche a market for such an effort from Sony.

 

TV’s,Mobile & Tablets are already making those extra efforts.

Next is most likely in July & then December.

 

But there is no certainty when it’ll drop.

Sometimes it drops only for select few….namely past subscribers who have discontinued.

Before buying a PS5pro,one should rather invest in a 120fps VRR enabled TV.

PS5 itself will upgrade itself a midgen if you play it on HDMI 2.1

It will run on any standard 1080p 50hz/60hz TV or  monitor with HDMi socket

 

But if you want best experience then get a 4K 120hz TV with VRR. This goes for anyone buying SX or PS5. 4K 120hz VRR TV gives best experience if you have the money to buy one.

 

But i would suggest calling HG world and book your Pro now before its sold out, TV you can buy anytime later but Pro stock is limited and it will not release here anytime soon officially. Get Pro first then upgrade TV later on. Dont listen to people who telling you to get TV first, there are many easily available TV options in India but Pro not easily available. So get Pro first and then TV down the line.

 

Get all details regarding warranty they offer. PS5 is quite reliable, it wont die if you keep it clean, well ventilated and use UPS if you get frequent power cuts.

Sony didn't start supporting 120Hz VRR + HDR until 3 generations ago on their LEDs.

 

The previous models are limited to VRR without HDR, which looks horrible (because of the less powerful Mediatek chip they were using).

 

I would not suggest getting a Ps5 Pro until you get a newer TV. I was in the same boat, had Sony x900H in my main room and was missing out.

That's why I upgraded to 65G3 in my main room and 55G4 in the office/quite room.

 

Even on Ps5, the jump is exponential and it feels like an entirely new console, granted it mainly comes down to LG being an OLED and not HDMI 2.1

You can go through HDTV Test on Youtube, don't listen to random information online.

 

Sony OLEDs are very expensive and even though the new LEDs support VRR + HDR, they still don't use the best chips out there and HDMI 2.1 is limited to 2 HDMI ports, not much of an issue but something to consider.

 

I wouldn't put down 80k on a Pro without sorting the TV out, you will regret.

But just check once if your set is indeed not supporting VRR + HDR, there were few units which got Snapdragon chips and they work fine. Google about your TV.

Buy LG G4 or G3 if you can find it anywhere for cheap.
