Don't think it'll be too long (another 2-3 years I'm guessing) and the price for the Pro is simply ridiculous for what it's actually offering IMO (Same for Switch 2 too sadly - both my favorite consoles jacked up prices badly)! It all depends on the games you are currently playing. For ppl who are playing 2023 & beyond games right now it makes sense to buy Pro. Sony just wants to milk loyal fanboys by selling overpriced console along with 60$ remasters. Its nothing but pure greed. All corporates are same. Yup. That's what i will do. Only loyal fanboys will buy something like Pro. Im going for straight PS6 in 2027. PS5 runs every game quite well. GTA6 trailer 2 was captured on base PS5 and now im even more convinced PS5 has lot of juice left. Full power of PS5 not properly utilised it. M$ took 60k from them in 2020 if you calculate interest then much more!! Lied the sh*t out of their brains about content coming….like literally looted & robbed them of their money for games they could have easily swapped discs of on PS5. But yeah it is what it is!! More than that if you want exact same output. Just look at AC Shadows on PS5pro. PC that would output same fidelity would easily cost you 1.5 lkh with 2tb of Nvme Gen 4 SSD in today’s time.
