Thankfully I contacted the Frances & Patrick Connolly Foundation so I'm pretty much set.
kittoo
A hypothetical question- assuming the PS5 will launch in India only in January (a 2 months delay, give or take), how much over the most probable MRP of 50k would you be willing to pay to get it Day 1 or so (from grey market, import etc)? Personally, maybe I could go up to 60k for getting it 2 months early.

If thats the case, will wait till its officially available.

I think you could attach ssd via usb to PS4 also but not sure..... just have to copy files to ssd to play the game I remember reading that supported ps4 games can be played from external hdd. Is this true?
ZooZoo
Even in 664gb ssd, you can keep 5-6 big games at a time. I can't imagine someone playing more games than that at the same time. I play at most 2 games at a time. One sports game and one rpg or single player game. So you can just keep your active games in the ssd and keep on swapping with external hdd. Its a 20 min hassle every few weeks but not as big a deal as everyone is making it sound like. With xbox you can squeeze in two extra games but thats about it. If you are not happy with 664Gb then you wont be happy with 850 odd gb either.

It kinda insinuates that it is normal and expected to go through the hassle of transferring games. Granted that a person might not find even 1TB enough but in 2020 anything less than that should not be a standard. Especially when your competitor is upholding the standard set by the previous gen. Xbox providing extra 200GB might not seem much right now but in future when games start inflating in size and people start storing gameplay captures, those 200GBs will help a lot. Also, many people play 2-3 games at a time in addition to a couple always installed games like FIFA, GT etc. I personally did use over 600GB at a time and with new gen I should not be expected to keep an HDD around. Eventually games will tend towards COD sizes and then it won't be enough. And atleast at the start of the next gen, storage woes should not be a topic of discussion. I'm the same when it comes to games on drive but 664gb is sh*t. And OMG the OCD seeing lesser than the expected so and so amount free will drive me up a wall because the total space is so unusual. Yes its a me problem but still more is always better, if nothing than for peace of mind.
kmkaks
Ah come on people! Don’t whine about storage space on PS5! I mean, we are getting top of the line cutting edge technology at this reasonable price! Its not like Mark Cerny and his r&d people at Sony did not know that 825gb is less than 1tb. Yet, they chose to make this forward thinking move, trusting us consumers to understand that sacrifices may be necessary for the industry to grow. I am 100% with Sony here. 1

Animus
Regarding PS5 being super quiet. Don't you guys feel it's too early to say, coz they are either showcasing launch titles or last gen titles game play...so it's pretty obvious the machine will be quite as these games will not push the machine to it's full potential. Real test would be when mid generation or end generation games like sequel to God of War Ragnarok, etc... is being played and the machine does not break a sweat.
