Share button was always good... I used it frequently to share stuff with friends...

I didn’t say tech is gimmick .. I said the examples he gave sound gimmicky... 

It’s up to Dev to come up with news ways to make it exciting..if they come up with fun ways to make them useful than it would be great..

Nothing gimmicky in this. All sound pretty cool and should increase immersion. Everything doesn't need to be ground breaking or revolutionary for it to be a good and useful new addition.

Well share button was mocked by the bot army leading up to the release as a gimmick. Everything is a gimmick until your favorite company copies it over. This goes back to rumble packs, analog sticks and pressure sensitive analog buttons.

Of course its there. Practically every first party game uses it, and there are a lot of first party games on PS4.

Wait till the mid-generation refresh of Xbox brings in the revolutionary Wifi-6 and new adaptive controllers. :wOOtjumpy: then xbots will be back to licking Phil's a*s.

I know what you meant. How it will be implemented in GT7 alone is exciting and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Of course how it's eventually implemented by TP is a whole other thing but yeah it could be really immersive if it's done right.

Buttons were not pressure sensitive, it was the analog sticks iirc and they still are.

PS2 and PS3 had pressure sensitive buttons which performed various actions based on how hard you pressed them, like throttle in racing games. This was adopted into triggers on OG Xbox and GC, later in 360 and now PS4. People kept calling it a gimmick while at the same time using triggers which does the exact same thing. The triggers just have longer travel distance.

This is the first time I'm reading about buttons being pressure sensitive. I always though it was only the sticks.

We will see tech expert. Bolto aise confidence mein raha hai jaise aisa hoga. Apart from first party no one will bother with 90% of controller features lol.
