Not saying the plate itself would have damaged the console, but Sony would most probably like to be extra 100% sure. Considering how iffy Sony lawyers are with these plate accessories, I just can't imagine how many lawsuits Sony might put on that Hitesh guy considering the fact that he was running a fake PS4 controller business for long time here.
