Geez. I really don’t see a point in getting all these Lafdas with all these scammers.
There is only Godfall that you cannot play on PS4 (& Astro’s Playroom).

DS most of you have played already & it will likely drop on PS4 too.

FOMO, the fuel that runs the engine of capitalism.

Yeah it’s not worth buying just for 1-2 games right now

I think ppl are more inclined on buying next gen consoles right now to play Crossgen at 60fps

which kinda of a foolishness

things will go back to 30fps on consoles pretty quick & these guys will feel the pain of having to switch back

Agree, definitely not worth paying a premium and buy out from unauthorized vendors. Wait it out and buy when it launches if you can’t secure for a decent deal.

Its definitely worth buying if you have a good PS4 backlog too so you can play the most refined version of it. 60 FPS and 30 FPS will go hand in hand throughout this Gen, they will try improving the 30 FPS with RT but I don’t think any next gen game will release without a 60 FPS mode, that’s a bare minimum requirement they will need to fulfill..

Days Gone at 60 fps is so good, I am glad I didn't play it much on pro, just felt very sluggish and load times were atrocious. Just sad that I beat Ghost of Tshushima at 30 fps.

And yeah, thanks to awesome CPUs, 60 fps is here to stay. Last gen shipped with crappy CPUs at launch itself, so even last gen games didn't see boost in fps on Xbox one for 360 games. Remakes like SoTC didn't run at 60 fps on PS4 pro, so did last gen ports like TLG. GTA 4 struggled on One X to run at locked 60 fps.

This time they got it right. Last gen games are running at locked 60 fps without breaking a sweat, even at 4K in most cases.

Buying a new gen system definitely makes sense for someone like me who still has just a base PS4. I am not even starting half the old games i want to play anymore since i want to directly play them on PS5 at 60 fps. Have money saved up bas bc Sony mkc release kre jaldi

You didn't play multiplatform games on PC? Or you talking about PS4 exclusives?

Wait 3 more years, for PS5 games to become cheap.

Unless you want to play PS4 exclusives on PS5 with better fps, that's ok because PS4 exclusives will be very cheap now.

I'm just saying this because i bought PS4 in Dec 2014 or so, since then a majority of these last 5 years it has been gathering dust only.

I also bought PS4 only for exclusives, but those are few and far between, in a good year you can see 3-5 exclusives releasing.

All costs 4k( now 5k) so you have to wait a year approx for games to hit the 1-2k pricing.

COD was 60fps even on PS360 while also looking very good, coz it was just one set piece after another

COD never got its due because of Activision's blood-sucking attitude by annualizing the franchise and then putting every 2-bit devs on it to literally run it into the ground,

Truth is COD4 the original remains one of the best SP & MP experience of PS360 era.

It had amazing set-pieces. exceptionally fast-paced action, awesome VO with story-line.

Technically, pulling all that off with 60fps with all OTT sequences was no mean feat.

Yeah, i've missed every ps4 exclusive game hence will play them first. I guess ps5 won't be a remaster machine cause that's what ps4 was for couple of years after its release. I might play few multiplats which my PC may not run until i upgrade my PC in some time.

Not to mention - as soon as you buy a PS5 and subscribe to PS+, you will get access to around 18 games - which includes many (not all) of the major exclusives of PS4. In addition to that there will be 2 PS5 games for PS+ as well - rounding off to 20 games. Considering PS+ is only 3000 Rs/annum (normal price, when not on sale) - it's well worth it

If you've skipped PS4, there is no point waiting. PS5 prices will not reduce drastically (maybe 1000 Rs here and there) unless they go for a Pro version or something after 3-5 years (But that is like skipping RTX 3080 because RTX 5080 will come in 3 years (That too in console case it's "maybe", not "guaranteed" - in other words, no point in waiting).
