No pre bookings till yet. Maybe some info next week.

I hope official Sony centers get majority of units. I don't want to order from any e-commerce websites. Would prefer to just walk into store and grab a PS5 and other things if available.

You have a better chance of securing a SX at a Sony store. And nothing beats the convenience of preordering one off an e-commerce site and enjoying the never ending delay.

Jan preorders, Feb launch is what a lot of people are saying.

Not a peep out of Sony though.

I hope stock is provided to Reliance Digital stores as well.

Spoiler

So I can redeem my long standing points at work. :nerves:

Delay after release, that's worse. I may stand in line if I have too. There's a curfew going in my city from 9pm to 4am.. I have a contact number of the manager in Sony centre, i might be able to secure one.

Answers to questions fed up parents will ask the sales people when their kids drag them to the store to buy a PS5.

They should just train them to start by telling people the price. Half the queries will stop right there.

Does this still happen lmao! And agree with your second half, not half but almost all. Because those who buy know what they are buying and they don't need people to tell them "Sir ye sabse fast he isme 12 GB ram he , Hardisk ekdam fast he , aur games bahot fast load hote he " like those phone people fooling common folks sayin and SD 665 WITH 12 GB ram is faster than As 855 with 8 Gb ram just because usme ran jyada he ????

Earlier it was November December

Than December January

Now January February so I'm keeping zero hopes. Better to be surprised than to be disappointed. But do let us know if you have any updates

What training are they doing... there will be limited amount of units at launch and in near future... and those who line up to buy PS5 will know what ps5 does [emoji23]

This training rumor is the most ridiculous thing I heard so far.

Imagine someone going to Reliance digital or Sony center and wanting to listen to the sales guy saying PS5 has an ultra fast SSD. Lmao.

You'll be surprised. There are the clueless ones who don't know what a game console is. These are the guys the training is for.

These guys, came across soo many times. Still there, selling thousands of rupees of products but have zero clue what it actually is.

I hope they complete this process of training and allot enough PS5s for us Indians soon. Atleast gift us with release date this holiday if not the console. Lol

They are training just to shoo away the kids who come with 1 set of mummy-daddy and 2 uncles with “hard cash” wanting to secure a pre-order by the power of money. Whether the training includes martial arts or simply eyeballing prospective clients out of the store remains to be clarified.
Nuclear Winter will persist until abrogated otherwise.

It's for the ones who are clueless with the product. The parents or the first time buyers. I too once knew nothing when I went to buy a PS3 slim. The salesman told me few important things. Then i joined this forum.

Now, we sure won't be asking what's new with the PS5, if someone have time to pull the salesman leg before making a purchase which goes into his record. :D

training chahiye re baba.
The last time I was on these forums, it was the 2010 Fifa WC. Like most wannabe Indians I too wanted to become a true football diehard by wanting to upgrade to a Tata Sky HD set-top box. The big box store next to my home kept insisting “HD karke kuch nahi hota. HP ka printer hai latest”

.. yaha pe hamare paas itna info hai ke when I'll go to get my PS5 toh 3 salesman ko to pakka kuch sikha ke hi aauga.

Aur photo shoot bhi hota hai sabke saath. Product ko salesman hame de raha hota hai aur baaki log side me smile kar rahe hote hai. Manager bhi dekh ke smile karta hai. Fir FB aur insta pe upload. :D

Ye sabki training zaroori hai ..

Don’t get me started about the mandatory photo clicking. Hated it always. Started ordering off the Samsung & Apple websites starting this year.
Don’t want some random bhabhi in Ghaziabad leeching my photo posted on a brand social media handle without me tagged.

Ask them to cover it in newspapers like Carefree pads, problem solved.

I actually carried the typical maharashtrian large Goni-bag fearing unwanted attention in the nasty lanes of south Mumbai.
Turns out the store was super chill and had perfectly sized carry bags. And none of the homeboys in the lane could care less if I had a PS5 or Sunny Leone on me.

I really hope they have enough stock to justify training the sales guys.

How long will they last on store shelves?
