The reason I was trying to suggest T7 over T5 is the sheer performance difference between the two. In the future, once the external drive slot is unlocked and people start buying those PCI4 nvme drives, the T7 would be a fantastic utility for one’s desktop. I started using the T7 on the Pro just days before getting the 5 so didn’t really think of doing a test. Also bro as much as it burns for some, the undisputed truth is the T7 is a nvme where as the T5 is Sata. Sata maxes out at 6Gbps. Nvme goes all the way to 10gbps. The PS5 2xUSB-A ports on the rear and the Type-C on the front all do 10Gbps. No reason to get the T5 over the T7. Especially for the point mentioned about PC usage later when the pcie4 expansion nvme drives come out. Hope that helped.
