Jigsaw Posted January 2, 2021 Report Share Posted January 2, 2021 Guys whoever’s doing a prebooking at a physical store, try to see if you can get the time and your spot in the line noted by them on the receipt. Not a fool proof way, but it will drive home the point that you are dead serious and do not want to get screwed over by some rich uncle who “warmed” the pocket of whoever handles the registry book. I learnt this years ago with a brand’s annual flagship phone launches. They will give all sorts of excuses to ask for cash. The downside to cash token is, it’s easy to refund for them at the last minute citing “less stock” when they go greedy and hand it out to whales who don’t mind paying more than MRP. IM NOT SURE HOW MUCH ACCURATE IS THE NEXT INFO , SO PLEASE DONT HOLD ME ON TO IT . he called distributor and he said no one know exact quantity and mostly wont know before next week thursday as sony india office is closed. HE ALSO Said no sony centre store is getting more than 25 units from what he know (Except popluated metros like mumbai banglore) so anyone taking order for 30 is probably playing with fire. he said dont expect second round soon until and unless every single piece is sold. Also there is some confusion about warranty on dualsense. So if you have prebooked somewhere where there are more than 30+ booking il probably call them on 11th and confirm.
