Maybe we are underestimating the units that would be allotted to India as some of the decisions taken by Sony just do not correlate with there being a stock shortage (ie partnering up with 7+ retailers, some of whom have presence across the country whereas initial rumours were that the console would only be available in metro cities initially). Since it’s been a couple of months since PS5 released worldwide, Sony would have a fair estimate on the demand of the console in India as well by now and would have planned accordingly.I do think there would be enough stock available for everyone to be able to get atleast 1 unit within a week or two of its release (I say within a week or two, as there would surely be cancellations for the multiple orders some people are placing. Network congestion is so bad - it's hilarious. Numerous times, I've called my friends and it went into a wrong number. Looked at the dialled no. and it's the correct one (My friend's no from the contact list). Dialled the 2nd time (Straight from "Call History" Section) and it dialled correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if the network operators here uploaded a list of "Electrical Appliance Shops" and bots randomly selected a wrong one sometimes, even if the no. itself is right.
