moral decision or a PR move is something I am not going to debate. It is the sensible thing to do for a business. Last time someone from the gaming industry got out of touch with fans, it ended up being one of the main reasons they got f**ked for an entire gaming generation.

Definitely. Having an event right now wouldn't make much sense considering all the coverage that protests are getting. Worse things happen everywhere else, true, but US i the biggest market for PS. It is a business move at the end of the day.

Speaking of old E3s, got this recommendation on my YT somehow. I personally didn't watch E3 2013, but looking at it - that was one of the best E3s ever. Not just MS setting itself on fire and Sony further kindling the flames, but even from 3rd party announcement perspective, man it was absolutely hilarious. Seems I missed out on the telecase of one of the best comedy gold E3s ever (I only read the news summary later down the line)

That guy jumping, you would think the announcement was for a new Half Life, Final Fantasy or something. Instead he announced - Peggle 2. And that 2 FPS gameplay of Black Flag, watching the video, I initially thought my PC was lagging. "Dynamic Gameplay only possible on Battlefield" - Game doesn't launch at all. MS rep announcing Crimson Dragoon like he was waiting all his life for it - with no sound or music at all.

 

I wonder, how did these conferences get approved in the first place. Did all the companies fire their marketing and QA Departments that year

That's what I am trying to do actually  I am pretty sure he is in my friend list on psn but I've never really checked my list in ages since I hardly play online. Will msg him on psn whenever I log in next. 

 

Just need to get the sales figure gap across to him and that should be enough

We were here and Xbots on IVG count was at all time high. Oh man that was one sweet E3. Total destruction.
