How the heck did you end up spending 7000 Rs?

3500rs for P5 and 3500rs for P5R.

I didnot call everything a scam. All the games AnK listed are a scam imo. People can think otherwise. This isn't 1984.

Control UE is the best deal for $40 and usually goes cheaper than that.

Oh! Understood. So simply the extras were not worth 3500 Rs to you - which is understandable. It was worth it to me. So yup, agree with the 1st sentence you made (What can be scam to you is great deal to others). Live example of it here.

So GTS Store pick ups, Sony Centres, Croma, Vijay Sales and RD all will get on Launch.

FK and Amazon no chance. I will also not get on 2nd as GTS can only ship on 2nd

What will happen if they allow to ship a day early at least :wallbash:

So, is Sony center delivering/pickup the online orders on day one? How did you confirm this?

Oh yeah - forgot that part. The game went on sale pretty quickly as well. Though I brought it at launch and don't regret it a bit. For me, it's one of those rare games that is epic and actually makes an impression, being fun for it's entire duration and leaving regret for the game ending. Unlike 99% of the games these days which are simple cash grabs or becomes tedious very soon (Looking at you - Ubisoft).

Yeah, I am a huge Persona fan so I would have bought it at launch if i had the time to play it then. Mainline Persona games comes once in a while so I want to enjoy it all. Same goes for Strikers as well, I want to play it at launch but doubt if I have the time.

For me it was 7000rs, not the most I've spent on a game but definitely up there with one of Nintendo's worst.

ha ha, Nintendo gaming is bloody expensive. I play rarely on switch now but some of the games are brilliant!

Nothing is guaranteed. My friend placed an order with a Sony store and they are not confirming day 1 pickup

That doesn't make sense. Sony says start deliveries on Feb 2nd but no pickup on 2nd Feb?

There is nothing universal rule for each store in each location. Pickup might be happening on the same day in some store and some locations. My point was, nothing is guaranteed. It might vary location to location

That will be so stupid then from Sony. Feb 2nd is launch and you don't get stock :ko:

well I havent played ANY of the games from the PS4 generation, so i am understandably impatient. will be experiencing every single game in the PS plus collection, and the discs I have purchased in anticipation, for the first time.

In same boat as you are - just curious - which games did you buy in anticipation? :D

It's fun seeing armchair analysts worrying about 150 billion dollar industry which keeps growing at a breakneck pace even when everything is going to sh*t.

This is just my opinion and I might be completely wrong -  but I think it's because everything is going to sh*t that the industry is growing at a break neck pace. People are sitting at home with nothing to do. Add to that the fact that people in the West are pretty much used to Credit Cards and loans - You've got the perfect recipe for the great growth. Had WFH not been there, growth might have been a bit slower.

Yeah, I second this.
I just got a call from the Sony Center, asking me which game I want to pickup along with the PS5 on Feb 2nd. I said, I don't need any game.
Then I asked him, when I can come on Feb 2nd to pickup the console. He was immediately like, "I will call you again to confirm it sir".
F*ckers don't better be prioritizing the consoles based on who are buying additional goodies! :furious:

And one more thing he mentioned was, they are receiving only a very few number of consoles. Not sure, how bad that is going to be.

It could be but the industry as a whole just keeps growing covid or not. I don't think we need to worry about them, lol.

That I agree with. The industry will grow no matter what. I was just commenting on the speed, and the fact that all gaming instruments (Consoles/GPUs/CPUs/Everything Else) are all setting records.

I bought the following

Digital

The Witcher

Bioshock Collection

Sniper Elite 4

Soma

Thief

Physical

The last of us part 2 - Special Edition

Far Cry 5

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition

Wolfenstein 2

Assassins Creed origins

Metro Redux

Metal Gear Solid - The Phantom pain

Ghost of tsushima

Red Dead Redemption 2

and of course the entire PS plus collection, which I actually had a friend activate for me even before I got the PS5. This was before the bans and everything so didnt know we werent allowed to do that:)
I hardly get time to play (which is why i missed the entire last gen) So I am guessing this stuff plus the monthly games will keep me set for at least a 3-4 years, possibly even longer LOL !
